1. Ensure that you have always a laser towers. These are made specifically for shield-bearing enemies that are semi-invincible with other kinds of tower such as rocket towers and machine gun. You will also find that laser towers are also effective towards any kind of unit so it is better to always have this defense in your gameplay. Actually every tower has a specific function correspond to specific enemies where you can use it to the fullest.
2. Build your infantry. After having laser tower and other offensive towers, you can now build your infantry tower next to it. This is a kind of tower that you can use mainly as walls to interrupt the incoming enemies for a while. Just position your infantry that comes out of the tower so they can grab those attacking aliens’ attention while still in your towers’ range so they can attack it in longer duration. This is very effective especially when you are dealing in well armored enemies wherein you need to buy time to exterminate them using your primary towers. Infantry will have to work as a sacrifice to let you have more time in killing those enemies. Don’t worry about how you will use them as sacrifice because they will be always a new unit to respawn after a while and that is actually their role in in this game.
3. Grind on previous levels with higher difficulty. Upon successfully earning 3 stars on the basic campaign version of a level, you are able to unlock the next difficulty for that level. To be specific, you are able to unlock the Veteran level that you can play for additional challenge as well as rewards. In this difficult level, you will find that you have only a one life plus you are only able to build machine gun and rocket towers and other related restriction like that. For every star, this is equivalent for gold so as you comply with full completion of three-star rating, you will acquire lots of golds as reward too. This is what you need to upgrade your towers and empowering your arsenal. So it is better to check previous levels and play in higher difficulty. Just keep in mind that you are only allowed to use it three times per level or you can spend your gems to recharge it. Definitely you must save it in difficult situation wherein you can use this as your last resort.
5. Always improve your hero. As you started playing Alien Creeps TD, you will be given a hero, Flak. Actually this is the only hero that you can use for free so you need to master it especially if you don’t have in your mind to spend real cash to unlock other heroes in game. Using gold you can improve your hero but compare to premium hero, Flak has a basic way to upgrade. Actually he has only one upgrade path and you need only to keep paying for a better upgrade. Definitely hero is the most useful element in your game so you need to constantly improve it so you can use his ability to the fullest for every level.
6. Unlock the MK II. Once you build a tower, you need to ensure that you will unlock the MK II variants of it for you to use the full potential. So for example, with your machine gun, you can unlock the MK II upgrade during the tutorial but actually in tutorial, it doesn’t mention that you need to buy one upgrade in that tower line in order to buy the MK II upgrade. Another is for the infantry, laser, and rocket you need to purchase on basic upgrade before you can enable MK II. Just try to get the MK II for each type of tower as soon as possible so everything will make easier.
