1. Start investing for your resources. This is the rule of a thumb in playing any MMORTS. Those players who have a concrete foundation for their resources basically dominate the game especially in the later part. It is better to start working with your resources as soon as possible so it will help you in the long run. But in the contrary, players are pretty busy in attacking and conquering other players and they forget to invest for their resources instead they work in upgrading their arsenal as an ingredients in attacking other players. Well at a beginning phase, that will help you but as you continue making progress you need a stable source of currency such as gold and oil for main currency and celenium for premium currency. So if you decided to work out your resources, you need to build those who can gives you oil and gold as well as you can save your Celenium for a better purpose later on which is permanent advantage like buying additional builder for your progress instead of using it to speed up the process of your base.
2. Getting free Celenium. If you are in the point of thinking a way to get free Celenium without downloading any Call of Duty: Heroes cheats, you can consider unlocking the achievements. These are able to let you earn free Celenium. Currently you have 20 sets of task that you can do while there will be more from upcoming updates. As you make progress, winning this cheap battle is not enough but still you can use the same trick in finding those less-defense base but still lots of resources to ransack. Just take your patience in finding a good opponent to capture.
4. Improve your arsenal. Now that you have decent resources, you can start building your arsenal by maxing out your deployment yards and increasing their upgrade level so you can also boost the total number of troops you can deploy every time you attack an opponent. You can use the ballistics lab to upgrade your human troops which can boost those who undergo training. Later in game, you can extend your forces using big machines and aircraft. Keep in mind that they are there for a reason and not rely on single type of unit alone. What you need to do is to understand their purpose in game and use it to your advantage. You will say that every unit has their own advantage and disadvantage and what you need to do here is to formulate a strategy that can cover up disadvantage with advantage using the mixture of different units in battle.
5. Defending your base with upgraded units. Now that you have good offensive unit and able to win almost all battles, expect that there will be lots of attack will knock on your base as they are also interested with your resources. So at this point you need to protect your resources and honor with much improved defense mechanism. You can surround your base with barriers in order to make it much difficult to penetrate. There are lots of things you can consider in building your base. Don’t forget that placement plays a great thing in formulating a defense strategy plus your resources too that you can use to upgrade defensive tower.
