2K Games has just released a new title under matching 3 game with their Evolve Hunters Quest. Unlike with typical matching game that let their players experience the same concept over and over again, this time the game offers an interesting twist to the asymmetrical shooter and matching three experience. As for technical definition, this is match 3 puzzle combat based game that already earn a respect from E3 being the best of show winner. Here you will use match 3 tokens of the same color to unleash devastating attacks on your enemies. As you continue making progress, you will see that you fill up energy bars which you need to activate hunters’ special abilities. You can earn Mastery Point to rank up your character in both mobile and console games. You can also explore the planet of Shear in search of new wildlife and monsters. For your primary objective, you need to discover and complete your collection of exotic wildlife in the Bestiary which will let you earn unique art for the Evolve console game. You can also consider watching your multiplayer match replays for the sake of strategy or you can check out some tips and guides below that you can implement to your account.
1. Understand your special attacks. For every squad members has three different special attacks and you should do your best to understand them all and learn when to use them in a perfect timing. You are able to unlock these special attacks as you play by matching tiles corresponding to the color of your character. Upon doing it, you will get an extra energy which gets you closer to unlocking their special attacks. Well, every decision will lies to your hand in which one to use the first one which usually can inflict damage against your opponent or you can consider doing nothing so you can completely fill the meter up. Each special attack has their distinct purpose in game such as others are far better than the other in case of the red character for instance. There are some players use the second super power as they believe that this is the best one and they can really change the course of the game.
2. Conserve your boost for difficult challenges. If you just started playing the game, though you are playing easy level, there are times that you will find it difficult but actually this is easy and there is no use to use boost on it. Instead learn the game and save your boost in the latter stage which is technically difficult.
3. Start matching at the bottom. Actually even some of your squad members cause more damage than others, matching at the bottom is your best call, no matter what tiles you have there. The reason behind this is when the upper rows start falling down and new tiles appear, you might get some extra matches and cause a lot more damage.
4. Aim the monster you wish to attack. In Evolve Hunters Quest your squad members will automatically select a monster to attack, but you can change that selection by simply tapping the monster which you wish to attack Just check out how many turns each of them requires before charging, consider the damage that they are causing and which is their target and decide which is the monster you should take eliminate first because going with the auto attacking is not actually recommended especially if you have your own strategy.
5. Understand your squad members. You will see that some of them such as yellow and red can inflict more damage while there are some which is intended for support and healing. Either way they all cause damage and attack monsters but the best thing you need to do is to expect from each of them to implement a strategy and match the tiles accordingly. There are some scenario which you might just want a low damage attack to take out a monster and then sometimes you might just want to add some extra energy to your bar to unlock a new super power.
