1. Spend your action points wisely. In playing TRANSFORMERS: Battle Tactics you will encounter skills that requires more than one action point which you can spend them in one round and they won’t be gone in the next. The key here is to ensure to use these points for high value skills when you have some. Keep in mind that there are times that these special skills will decide if you are going to win or lose in the game.
2. Take advantage with first strike. Actually first strike can let you add some great bonus. Ensure that you have always a transformer that can give you a first strike advantage those with blue lightning symbol and make sure to take advantage of that when you roll the maximum even though the damage caused by that specific bots will decrease having all of your team shoot first as initiative.
3. Recruit all robots at once. Actually your major priority here upon starting playing the game is to recruit as many Transformers as possible so you can use them in battle. The key here is that the higher the tier, the better robot it is but then you must also consider the type of it. So for you to manage it effectively, you can consider recruiting all available robots at once so you can select from more variation to build up your perfect team.
4. Take advantage with targeting option. The game offers this option which is really helpful on early phase of the game. This is perfect since you can take out one robot from your opponent’s team.
