Just to give you a review, this game will let you control of a dragon breeder which is capable of getting new dragon from it. As a breeder you have special skill which is capable of conversing with dragons and this is what you will use so you can tame and train them and be the strongest dragon in game. You can use these power so you can protect your own town and play the game competitively. Use your unique powers of your dragons to kill the evil enemies defenses as well as defending your own town using mighty towers. From the top of it, you need to play the game strategically to win the game. So below are some guides to help you play this game effectively.
1. Complete all the Dragon Guard missions. This is actually additional objectives you can play it but unlike with Ash missions, these ones are most always battle-related so you will never get tired of it. In this set up, the game will ask you to do missions such as using a certain dragon or dishing out a certain amount of damage with specific dragon. The good thing here is that upon complete, here you will get an egg tokens which you need to breed new dragons. As you can guess, this would be very effective when battling against Warrior-type dragons who have abilities like Explosive Shield. Just don’t forget your farms too when dealing with towers. Yes tower can protect your land from attacks but against production farm including sheep farms and lumber mills is very important which you need to stay up for longer. As for Storm Towers, you can place a protective shield on nearby towerswhich making them completely invincible for a short time. The key here is tower positioning so you need to manage your tower wisely.
3. Just leave the game on. If you feel that you have enough defense system to help you protect your land from intruders, you can leave your game on. Basically when another player launches an attack against your you, the game will automatically take control of your towers to defend. But then if you’re currently playing the game, you will receive a notification located at the top of the screen. By means of tapping it, this will allow you to defend against the player in real time. You need to be quick in this part as this notification only stats on the screen for about 5 seconds and then after that, it will deploy into auto mode if there’s no response from you.
4. Don’t switch your dragons not unless it is your last resort. From tutorial, I believe that you learned that the less dragons you use, the more bonus flames you will get at the end of the attack. Definitely more bonus flames means more experience so this is a good way for you to level up your dragons fast. In this process, using only one dragon will give you two bonus flames and using two dragons will bring one bonus flame for you and upon using 3 or even more dragon, you are not entitled to get dragons.
5. Always breed dragons. If you have a chance to breed dragons, take it as your advantage. First you can select two dragons in the breeder which will show you a list of what possible eggs you will get. So if you decided going for a new dragon, the chance to get it is not guaranteed actually unless you will use to breed 20 eggs option which costs an tremendous amount of rubies. Just don’t push it to hard since you can still use eggs of dragons you already hatched if you think that you are wasting your time in breeding for something new. Upon producing your first duplicate egg, you will unlock the hall of research. In this in-game feature you can research passive bonuses to your town and your dragons as well but you need eggs to do so.
6. Take advantage on using the right dragon for the job. In this game there are three types of dragons that you can use and what you need to do so you are able to ensure that you are going to use it based on your advantage. As for the first type, there is a hunter dragons which is capable of dealing rapid tap fireball attack. These kind of dragon dominate at doing big burst damage on single targets. They have utility abilities, such as Cloak and Evasion which will let them to dodge some incoming fire. Actually the best thing to use this dragon is to take out top-priority towers. There is also warrior dragons which come as beefy dragons or tanker. They have high health and support abilities such as Rejuvenate, Cure Poison and explosive Shield. They are purely damage dealer in game but require a lot of rage to built up before they can be used. Fireball lets you new a wide area and inflicting massive damage. This is perfect on dense tower areas especially those you need to eliminate instantly.
