Hearthstone: 80 Packs Bought Here’s The Result

So we just decided to try and buy 80 packs from Hearthstone. Here’s an overview of which cards we got from these packs. That should give you an idea of what to expect, if you were to do the same some day.

Here goes:

Below you will see all the rare cards we got from buying 80 card packs. In total we got 85 rare cards.
From the tooltip when buying it says you should get at least 1 rare card for each pack bought.
Out of a total of 400 cards 80 of these should be rare. That leaves 320 cards that can be anything else.
Out of these 320 cards 5 of these would be rare cards. So the chance for getting an extra rare card from a card pack in Hearthstone could be 1.5625%.

Of all the cards we bought we got 11 Gold cards. Of 400 cards with 11 of them being gold cards that’s 2.75% chance of getting a gold card.
