The time lapse cheat
If you don’t want to spend too much time waiting for the game to get your plants ready, then you can easily quit the game (make sure that the plants are well watered) and set the time on your device forward by the time required for the plants to be ready. When you restart the game, you can harvest your “crops”.

Learn how each character responds to joints
Some characters respond good to them (increasing the number they want or the price offered) but some are very strange and they will stop buying anything afterwards. Try them all out and remember which reacts better to get the most out of this!

Make sure you have enough water
Water and fertilizers are what matter the most for your plants and a good idea would be to always start by maxing out your pots with them to make sure that the plants keep growing. This is especially useful when you leave the game for a while. However, make sure you don’t add too much water as it will all be lost when the plant is ready and therefore your profits will decrease.

Remove low paying customers

So make sure that you buy them all and use them to your advantage. Also, check out the lengths of the record: the longer they play, the more you will enjoy the bonus XP points, so it makes sense to get them!

Remove obsolete pots
You can remove a pot by tapping the chair under it. Do this when you unlock new pots that are way better than the ones you already own.

Always have seeds and water purchased
To make sure that you don’t risk getting out of business when the cop comes and you don’t want to bribe him (or don’t have the money), make sure that you always have some seeds stashed, as well as the water to make some plants grow.
