Nitropia – War Commanders is a tower defense game that pits you in charge of an elite team known as the Alliance Command. Upgrade your towers and send your Rigs into the battle as you prepare to fend off the dark forces that threaten Earth! We’ll help you lead your team into victory with our Nitropia – War Commanders cheats, tips and tricks strategy guide.
1. Keep an eye on your command center to collect Nitrus!
Nitrus spawns over your commander center every, I’ll say about 5 or so seconds. Nitrus is your main currency for upgrading your rigs, so be sure to collect them as much as possible! It’s very easy to forget that you have a nitrus waiting to be collected in the middle of battle, so try to get into the habit of glancing at your command center every now and then just to check.
2. Upgrade your rigs to keep them in combat ready shape!
Your rigs have three categories which can be upgraded: defense and attack. Defense improves their movement speed and armor rating, while attack improves their damage and reload speed. The third categories upgrades the rigs’ special field effect. Each rig has a different field effect, and upgrading them improves their ability and shortens their cooldown time.
3. Level up your officers by bringing them into battle!
Officers, on the other hand, level up simply by participating in a battle. Each officer has their own personal field effect much like the rigs, and they’re all useful. The most useful one we found was Nika’s, which is a heal power. You can use this to heal up any tower or rig. When an officer reaches level 10, they’ll learn a new skill.
4. Keep your rigs mobile and hold off enemies at chokepoints!
Try to position your rigs so that they engage the enemies within range of one of your towers. This is the most effective way to bring down a wave quickly and efficiently. If you have war centers, it’s even better as you have additional units, which means more firepower. Remember that you can use the global movement command to move all of your ground units, excluding your rig, to one location. It also helps if you have Arkosen as one of your officers, as his field effect ability makes all ground units move to a specified location at a super fast speed.
5. Try not to use repair and time gate too much!
Repair and Time Gate are two abilities that you will always have, regardless of rig and officer selection. Repair works just like Nika’s field effect, which can regenerate the health of a unit or tower. Time gate slows all enemies down in a targeted area. These are both wonderful abilities but they should only be used in an emergency as they both require nitrus to use. If you remember, nitrus is the currency you need to upgrade your rigs so don’t go too crazy with these abilities!
Unfortunately we couldn’t progress past level 3, as the game requires you to unlock the full version by paying real money. These tips you should cover you up to that point, though. If you have any other questions or suggestions, leave a comment below!
