Ancient Fear is a hack’n’slash action RPG that puts you in the role of a guardian. As a guardian, your job is to fight the forces of evil, but you won’t be doing it alone! Choose one of the ancient greek mythology heroes to fight alongside you, such as Athena, Zeus, and more. We’ll help you fight your way through this action game with our Ancient Fear cheats, tips and tricks strategy guide!
1. Use your slide often!
Your slide is a quick dodge move that can get you out of harm’s way within the blink of an eye. Just swipe the screen in the direction you want to slide in and that’s it. Just remember that you can’t do it consecutively; your slide has a two second cooldown before it can be used again. With that said, two seconds isn’t very long, so use it whenever you’re in trouble!
2. Complete the star challenges!
The better you perform during a level, the better your rewards will be. Each level has three star objectives you must complete. The first one is to usually clear the level, of course, but the second and third objectives vary. Some will have you defeat a certain amount of enemies, and some will require you to not take too much damage. Check them before you adventure off, and try to complete all for big loot!
3. Star-up your equipment!
You can upgrade your equipment through a process known as “star-up”. This requires a certain material and some gold. If you like your current equipment and you want to stick with it, consider upgrading it to give you even more power. Keep checking your inventory to see if you can upgrade any pieces of equipment!
4. Use your skills often!
Your skills will completely decimate enemies early on, and do significant damage later on in the game. Your skills run on mana, but do not fret. Use your skills as often as possible to clear out enemies fast. Remember – you’re graded on time! Don’t worry about mana, as enemies will often drop mana potions that restore a chunk of your mana on the fly. Be relentless!
5. Don’t worry about your initial choice of hero!
The hero you pick at the beginning of the game does determine what kind of skills and stats you will learn in the future. With that said, don’t worry too much if you don’t like your hero right off the bat. They’re all very good and balanced, and they all become very powerful towards the end of the game.
