Smashy Road: Wanted guide - Tips and tricks to help you outwit the law

Smashy Road: Wanted is a thrilling endless racer in which you have to try and outwit - and outspeed - the law for as long as possible until you're inevitably busted or turned into the vehicle-equivalent of toast.

It's basically an endless version of the early Grand Theft Auto games. You gain an increasing number of stars based on both how long you survive and the devastation you cause while doing so.

The number of stars indicates how desperate the authorites are to try and take you down. Get up to six stars and the army will even get involved.

As you can tell,Smashy Road: Wantedis quite the challenge. Fear not though, for 148Appshas you covered with a few tips and tricks to help you outwit the law.

Choose the vehicle that's right for you

You won't have a lot of optionsat first in terms of vehicles but as you collect cash and unlock new ones you'll soon figure out which types you tend to favour.

There are nippy little vehicles with tight turning circles, huge, slow trucks that can knock traffic out of the way with ease, and jack of all trades like the default pick-up - which shouldn't be underestimated.

Legendary cars even come with their own traits that help you earn money faster, make you unstoppable, or give you a massive speed boost.

Experiment with every vehicle you unlock until you settle on the type that works best for you.

Drive responsibly

This soundslike an odd suggestion in a game calledSmashy Road: Wantedbut abiding by the laws of the road actually works in your favour.

For a start, you get a speed boost by remaining on the roads which helps you speed away from the law in faster vehicles and also lessens your chances of crashing into environmental obstacles.

Also, drive on the right side of the road. It's easier to react to vehicles that are driving away from you than ones speeding into you.

Use your opponent's weaknesses against them

The squad cars are actually pretty fast and can overtake or keep up with most vehicles with ease.

You can use this to your advantage though. Do a quick 180 degree turn when a squad car is about to bash into you and it'll speed past, leaving you free to race off in the opposite direction.

As your star count increases and jeeps, tanks, and army vehicles come for you it might make more sense to drive in tighter terrain like between buildings or on busy roads as the larger vehicles will have trouble getting through.
