There are three difficulty modes: Intern, Architect, and Master Builder. If you clear all three difficulty modes, you can earn all the coins and the special items for that level.
Boosts are extremely helpful in advancing through tough levels and each time you advance through a certain level, you can get a new boost! For example, when you unlock level 5, you would have the Combo boost. When you beat level 7, you can get the Lightning Strike boost, unlock level 8, to receive the Digger Boost, and so on. There are also mystery boxes that would appear when you beat certain levels, these are special because they contain powerful boosts that will help you defeat a hard level.
In Gummy Drop, there are four different type of resources: Coins, Bricks, Hats, and Gems. When you complete each difficulty mode for a level, they will award you with coins (100 coins per level). Bricks, Hats, and Gems appear alongside with the gummies in the level. The resources (Bricks, hats, and Gems) that you match during the level will be included into your resources total after you beat the level. You can also replay any level even after you beat the Master Builder level to gain more resources.

My opinion of this game is fairly good. I’ve played quite a few puzzle games and this one is a bit more interactive and more things to do than others. I really like how even after I ran out of lives to complete a level, I am able to continue to have fun by building back the monuments in the city.
My only complaint is that, there are a lot of people on the Android community saying that after the update, there are issues with playing the game. I think that Big Fish company should listen to these complaints and try to fix the bugs.
If you are stuck on a level, I believe you can find a lot of guides online because more than 10 million people have installed this game! The best feature of Gummy Drop is that every level in this game is different from one another, you are always on the edge of your seat, waiting to see how to crack the next level.
This game is simple but fun. Anyone would be able to enjoy this game and connect with one another because of how diverse Gummy Drop is. If you are looking for some family time with your child, you can download this game and either compete with your child or help them advance through the game. This gives them a good learning time and also bonding time for the both of you.
Artwork: The artwork is bright and cheerful, as I mentioned earlier. You get to learn a lot about the cities by advancing through this game, and this is a nice and easy way of learning about another city’s geography in an fun way. 9/10 for artwork!
Music & SFX: 7/10 for this category. I rate this 7/10 because although the music and sfx does match this game very much, they sound very monotone and upon listening to the music and sfx for a long time, you would want to turn it off.
Story & Originality: Gummy Drop! Receives a 8/10 for this category. This is because they have incorporated two different game types in this game, board and puzzle. You can’t get bored waiting for lives to recharge when you can fix up the broken cities, for this game, it was straight forward in telling you what it wanted you to do.
Addictiveness: This game receives a 8/10 for addictiveness because like many other puzzle games, it challenges you to use your mind and also puts you on edge thinking about how to beat the next level one after the other. I also like the diversity of getting extra lives and moves through the Lucky Spin and Daily Quests, this doesn’t limit the player to having to buy in app purchases in order to move forward in the game.
