There are two types of currencies in Motocross Meltdown. The first one is in the form of in-game cash which you can easily earn by playing the game, and the second one is in the form of gold bars, which is premium and very hard to obtain by playing the game. You could of course spend real money to purchase both the in-game cash and gold bars if you are short on them.
The price for in-game cash varies from $4,99 for the smallest stack of 5000 cash up till $99,99 for the largest stack of 160.000 cash. The price for gold bars varies from $4,99 for the smallest stack of 100 gold bars up till $99,99 for the largest stack of 3200 gold bars. Making any kind of purchase in-game with real money will also reward you with a brand new dirt bike. If you do not want to spend real money onMotocross Meltdown, you can also get free gold bars by either watching advertisement videos, after which you will receive one gold bar, or you can complete offers. Offers usually mean that you have to download other games or fill in surveys, after which you will receive the promised amount of gold bars.
Both the in-game cash and gold bars can be used for several things in Motocross Meltdown. You can use the currencies to purchase newer bikes. These bikes are more powerful than the one you will get at the beginning of your gameplay, but they can get pretty expensive. You cannot purchase every bike since you need to first unlock them by playing the game and progressing through the levels.
You can also purchase and use different kinds of tricks which you can use in your
Every bike can be upgraded with parts, which will make it faster and easier to handle. These upgrades come in stages, so the higher stage you are with a certain part, the better your dirt bike will be. These upgrades include the Engine, Wheels, Brakes, Body, Exhaust and Suspension. These upgrades can be purchased with in-game cash but also gold bars.
You can also customize your character with different helmets, jerseys and pants. These upgrades will make your character look differently but also give you a boost in earned income per race. You can also do the same with your bike, make it look different because of a new paintjob and stickers, and it will also give you extra income per won race. If you would like your character to match with your bike, you can also purchase full kits that changes the looks of your character and your bike with the same colors and stickers. These kits are pretty expensive but will also give you a big bonus income per won race.
If you are sitting at home playing Motocross Meltdown, then you have probably noticed that gold and money are really important for this game. Although you can get the gold and money through the app store, this costs real money, and you will notice this adds up quickly.

There are many websites out there that claim they have cheat tools that allegedly can inject your game with unlimited gold bars and in-game cash. These cheat tools can supposedly connect with your device and modify the game files. Does it sound too good to be true? Hell yes it does and it’s exactly like that. For the sake of this review, I tried out one of these cheat tools. So I went to one of the many cheat websites, and clicked on the download button. I got redirected to a download website which wanted me to fill in a survey before I could even download the alleged cheat tool. These surveys are there because people fill them in, and that’s how both the cheat website and the download website generate an income for themselves.
After I filled in the survey and downloaded the cheat tool, I opened the program. It looked like it would work and asked me to connect my mobile device with my computer. After I done this, I could fill in the amount of in-game cash and gold bars I wanted to receive and click on inject. Of course, the cheat program didn’t actually work, it doesn’t do anything because it is an empty shell. Most if not all of these cheat websites trick people into believing that the cheat tools will work and they make money because of the surveys that the players need to fill in. Instead of trying to find cheats, you should try the next tips and tricks to have an advantage in the game.
At the start of every race, there are three red lights, and the fourth one will turn everything green. You need to tap your screen right when it becomes green so you will have a perfect start. A perfect start will make your dirt bike go faster and you will have a head advantage over your opponent. Other than that, it is very important that you focus really hard in order to succeed in Motocross Meltdown. You need to be able to tap your screen at just the perfect times so that you can be faster and win races against even harder opponents. There are tricks which you need to perform by holding the gas paddle, and you need to release it right before you land. This will ensure you get a nice boost in speed but also in rewards.
If you are out of cash and gold bars, and you want to upgrade your dirt bike, you should really check back in the game daily, and collect your daily reward. You should also try out the Exhibition and Ladder racing events. If you are able to defeat every opponent in a single ladder, you will be rewarded handsomely, and you will be able to get much better bikes and upgrade them accordingly. You should not spend much money upgrading lower tier bikes, but instead save your cash and aim to buy a higher tier bike. This will ensure that you will have a more decent bike and will make you not spend your cash in for nothing. Once you start upgrading your bike, spread your upgrades out on all of the parts. If you focus too much on, for instance, the wheels of your bike, but not on the suspensions and engine, your dirt bike will not work properly and you will lose against your opponents.
The first things I noticed about Motorcross Meltdown is that the graphics and environments of the game are absolutely beautiful. It makes the game feel livelier and you sometimes feel like you actually are participating in a race. The game starts off with a nice tutorial that shows you how to play the game properly, how to control your bike and win races. I am glad that the tutorial also shows you how to purchase new bikes, upgrade your bikes and other things. There are also nice vanity items which makes your character and your bikes look totally different. I like the fact that you can learn new tricks to use during your races, to earn more rewards and get a big advantage over your opponents in the game. I like the fact that you can sign in with your Google+ account so you can enable achievements and the leaderboard of Motocross Meltdown. It adds a nice challenge to the game, because you would want to become better than other players around the world and by enabling leaderboards you can see other players’ scores and challenge them.
Unfortunately, there are also several negative aspects about Motocross Meltdown. First of all, players get limited playtime because of the fact that Motocross Meltdown has a gas canister and energy bar system implemented. This means that players either need to wait a while before they are able to play again or they need to use premium currency to replenish all of the gas canisters and energy bolts. I never believe that using an energy system and limiting players is a good idea because of the fact that this can always turn people off from playing your game. The developers should rather take the limits away and just implement another system that could pull players towards Motocross Meltdown and make them play the game more.
The second negative aspect is that a lot of upgrades become very expensive later on in the game. This makes it almost impossible for players to be able to purchase better bikes and better upgrades. Of course you can purchase gold bars and in-game cash if you want to spend money, or you can get them for free by completing offers or watching advertisements, but this does not always work. The offers you need to complete often do not pay out the amount of gold bars they promise, or even pay out at all. The developers should look into making bikes and upgrades way cheaper if they do not want Motocross Meltdown to feel like a cash grab.
Artwork: I give Motocross Meltdown an 8/10 for its artwork. I think it is pretty refreshing to see how much detail the developers put into the game. The graphics are actually really nice and it feels like one of those motocross games you can play on a console. I like the fact that the dirt bikes used in Motocross Meltdown are pretty realistic and while the names are not authentic to real dirt bikes, the looks and design of the bikes are very nice. I think it is nice that the game makes you feel like you are actually racing due to the fact that the environment is so lively and you do not need to concentrate on driving your bike. The way that the developers made the game is that you need to focus and press the gas button on time when the circle hits it. This allows you to see how your character handles his bike, and what kind of tricks he does.
Music & SFX: I give Motocross Meltdown a 7/10 for its music and SFX. There are different kinds of soundtracks in Motocross Meltdown, which is really nice for a mobile game. The main menu has a nice metal/rock and roll which really fits in the whole dirt bike racing scene. There are other soundtracks which you will hear when you are playing, racing other players. These soundtracks are different, easier on the ears and let you focus on the gameplay itself. There are a lot of sound effects in Motocross Meltdown, such as main menu SFX when you tap on menu buttons but also realistic sound effects when you play the game, such as dirt bike SFX and environment SFX.
Story & Originality: I give Motocross Meltdown an 8/10 for its story and originality. There are dozens of dirt bike racing games out on both Google Play Store and iOS App Store but if I can be honest, I never played a game like Motorcross Meltdown before. There is a small story behind the gameplay, stating that you used to be a very good dirt bike racer but you were out of the scene for a long time. Now you are trying to get back into the scene, and try to become to most successful dirt bike racer in the world.
General Gameplay: I give Motocross Meltdown an 8/10 for general gameplay. It is nice that a game such as Motocross Meltdown has both singe player and multiplayer mode. The single player even has different game modes which keeps the gameplay fresh. There is a small tutorial at the beginning which teaches you the basic controls of the game and how to achieve your objectives. After you get used to the gameplay, it becomes very straightforward but entertaining nonetheless. The user interface is nice and clean, and the controls are responsive as they should be.
Addictiveness: I give Motocross Meltdown a 6/10 for addictiveness. It is very unfortunate that the developers of Motocross Meltdown implemented an energy system that really limits the gameplay time for players. If you do not have the patience and do not want to spend real money on this game, you might be really turned off by the fact that you cannot simply play the game for an hour in one sitting. It would have been better if the developers take the energy system out of the game and let players play freely. The addictiveness level would go up and players would actually enjoy the game more, I certainly would.
All things considered, I give Motocross Meltdown a 7/10.
