With frequent updates and a vast number of tasks to complete in 2020: My Country, players will have more than enough content, and hours upon hours of gameplay. Considering this is a free app, it’s practically a gift from the creators, Game Insight, to you. Building a city has never been easier or more fun than in 2020: My Country, and I’ll show you why you should download it from the App Store today.
As the owner of an island city, your first job is to get your economy up and running. Your assistant will lead you through an easy tutorial of how to place buildings, complete tasks, and build residential areas for the citizens of your new city. The controls are very simple; all you have to do is point and tap! Want to place a donut shop on the corner of mainstreet? With a few taps of your finger, you’ve just created jobs and given your citizens a place to stop in for a tasty treat. Want to create a booming, major business? Simply select a skyscraper, build it, and hire your first CEO to guide your business to success! Anything you can think of is possible in 2020: My Country; from encountering alien visitors to creating a city park, you’re in complete control. The sky truly is the limit.
In 2020: My Country, you will be using two types of currency: cash, and energy. Cash will be your main resource on the island; without cash, you can’t build anything. Luckily, you will start out with some cash, which you will spend to create businesses and other assets that will automatically generate income for you, and all you have to do to collect your income is tap the cash marker above your buildings. The second currency used in 2020: My Country is energy. Energy is used to speed up construction and upgrades, or it can give you access to special items. The only way to gain energy in 2020: My Country is via IAP (In-App Purchases), leveling up, or completing certain tasks. As you get farther into 2020: My Country, you’ll watch your cash pile up, and you’ll truly feel like the virtual tycoon that you’ve become.
2020: My Country lets you build your city on a rather large island, but there will be many areas, tasks, and events closed off to you until your level has been raised to a certain point. For example, you won’t have access to the harbor/boating area until you reach level 15. To level up, you’ll have to collect xp from completing ventures (missions or tasks) and from collecting your profits from your businesses. When you tap the cash symbol above a business to collect your profit, a dollar sign will pop out of the building, and a RC drone will fly out and deliver an xp package. Tap all of the xp and cash symbols that pop out and land on the ground to collect them and add the resources to your bank and xp bar.
As you go about your day to day business in 2020: My Country, you’ll notice the vivid, colorful scenery and calming ambience. I found that this helps to keep you calm as you receive task after task, heralded by the ever constant ring of your business cell phone. The sound effects of 2020: My Country really bring your city to life as your citizens go about their own daily hustle; the soothing waves of the beach contrasts with the incessant beeping of car horns, the telltale sign of a bustling community. 2020: My Country will start off as just a game to the average player, but with enough time, planning, and soul put into your city, it will turn into your pet project, and even a second home of sorts.
2020: My Country is a great city building game that requires a lot of strategy and planning, which means you need a lot of resources in order to build up your city from the ground. You can get game dollars, game bucks, and gold coins through the app store, which helps you get all of the items you need for your city, but these cost real money to purchase. If you are like most people, you cannot afford to keep making app purchases in order to build up your city in 2020: My Country, which is why we have developed a hack tool, which gives you these items for free.
Check out the picture below and you will see how easy the hack tool is to use, with an options menu that you use to enter the amounts of each item you want to add to your account.
First, download the free 2020: My Country hack tool right here from our website, and this takes about 20 seconds to download onto your device. The hack automatically installs after downloading, which takes no more than 40 seconds to complete, and then just choose either iOS or Android. You can then type in the amounts of each item that you want to add to your account.
Tap on “Start” to begin the hack tool when you are ready, and it should take no more than 45 seconds, although it depends on the speed of your internet connection. After that, you can open up 2020: My Country on your device as usual and you will see the items have already been added to your account. Using our hack tool not only allows you to get all the items you need without spending any money in the app store, but it also allows you to enjoy playing this city building game more since you are not wasting time trying to collect these resources.
The world has never heard of a CEO that has achieved his or her status without business smarts or a mission plan. Because 2020: My Country is a total simulation of the real world, we thought you might need some pointers to help get you started and get the most out of your time playing 2020: My Country.
Daily Rewards- First and foremost, you need to know that the leader of a city must always keep an eye on his or her affairs. By returning every day to check on your busy city, you can collect your daily reward. This can be energy packs, piles of cash, or special items, depending on your progress in the game and how many days you’ve checked in so far. Daily rewards is one of 2020: My Country most powerful secrets, so make sure not to neglect your city!
Planning Your Expansion– We have zoning laws in real life for a reason; poor planning when it comes to constructing buildings is a waste of space and could lead to potential hazards. Just like in reality, careful planning is required when you decide to expand your city. Since you only have a limited amount of space available to you when you build, you must plan where your buildings will be placed, and make sure not to leave spaces between buildings; spaces of one tile between buildings will simply waste space, as very few items in 2020: My Country only require one tile. Unless you plan to stuff the unused space between buildings with bushes and mail boxes, it is best to cram buildings together as close as you possibly can. This will allow for maximum usable space if you plan on constructing more houses or skyscrapers.
Air Balloons- There is a fun little cheat in 2020: My Country that not many people know about. Once you unlock the air balloon, you can actually launch it at move it around your island by tapping on it! This is a great way to show your citizens the beautiful landmarks of the island they live on, and it’s a fun way to kill time in the rare quiet moments when you’re waiting for a task or upgrade to be completed.
Keeping Your Economy Active- A very good trick for finding success in 2020: My Country is to keep your economy booming; you can do this by constantly giving your workers tasks to complete. If you see a button with a briefcase above a building, you can tap it to reveal several task options that you can assign to your workers in that specific business. Staying on top of potential business opportunities will increase your net earnings within a set period of time, which means you’ll be earning big $$$ before you even know it.
“Beam me up, Scotty”- Of all the secrets in this game, this secret is the most important in all of 2020: My Country. In the real world, space travel is rather limited, and UFO’s are a very controversial subject. In 2020: My Country, however, The Grey are definitely present on your island. When you reach a certain point in the game, you may notice an odd “aircraft” crash somewhere near your city. Since you’re the leader of the island, it will be your duty to make first contact with these beings. While many people think that the government is hiding alien activity from us in the real life, you’ll be privy to all of the mystery of alien beings in 2020: My Country, and you’ll influence the outcome of future interactions between Earth and these cosmic beings.
Compared to all of the city building apps that I’ve played in the past, 2020: My Country definitely brings the most innovation to this genre. Most of the time, you’ll imagine a city building game as a somewhat predictable and simple experience, and most of the time your guess will be spot on, but this isn’t true for 2020: My Country. You’ll be thrust right into the position of a powerful owner of an island, and you’ll be forced to make business decisions and hire employees or CEO’s of the companies that you raise from the ground up. No other iOS app brings this degree of detail to the table. In fact, I’d even venture the opinion that 2020: My Country is more of a simple simulation, than a game.
My experience playing 2020: My Country has been very pleasant so far, and I find it hard to put down, even for a moment. 2020: My Country forces you to be on the ball at all times; from completing ventures, to collecting profits, you’ll rarely have a moment in which you’re not actively engaged in the expansion of your island empire. As I said earlier, the ambience of the waves helps to keep you calm, and the car horns create the perfect feeling of being in the middle of a city. I also think it’s pretty cool that the devs added a speech feature to your citizens, which sounds very similar to the NPC speech in The Sims. Really, my only issue with the sound effects in the game is the constant ringing of your cell phone; over time, this becomes quite annoying, but it’s not completely unbearable.
The graphics and the artwork in 2020: My Country is pleasing to the eye, and I love how it portrays modern times with the inclusion of drones, aliens, and mag-rails. If you zoom in, the scenery gets a tad bit blurry, but I suppose that’s to be expected with a free mobile app, so this complaint is fairly minor.
Overall, 2020: My Country is a fairly well-made game, and it’s definitely a fun app to have handy whenever you have time to kill. I definitely recommend downloading it today while it’s still free!
Artwork- The colors are vivid, and the overall vibe I got from the scenery is one of a technological utopia; I feel good when I play this, and the setting seems to be that of 2020, just as the title suggests. The only negative aspect of the artwork is the blurry quality when you zoom in. Artwork receives a rating of 7/10.
Music/SFX- The SFX and ambience is high quality, but I found the ringing cell phone to be very annoying. Because of this, this category will lose some points. Music/SFX gets a 6.5/10.
Story/Originality- I really like how 2020: My Country includes aspects of the real world into the gameplay, such as the employee/CEO hiring process. I also enjoy the fact that other strange events have been added to the game, such as the alien visitors. While many aspects of 2020: My Country are shared with other other apps, I think the devs made this game to be quite distinguishable from the other games in the same genre. Story/originality scores an 8/10.
General Gameplay- As a whole, 2020: My Country is very enjoyable, and it is jam-packed with content. You’ll never have a single boring moment, but if you don’t like city building games, you may find 2020: My Country to be somewhat repetitive, in all honesty. Because 2020: My Country caters to a somewhat select group of gamers, one point will be deducted. General gameplay receives a 9/10.
Addictiveness- 2020: My Country is one of those games that really pulls you in. When job after job is presented to you, you’ll feel something of a responsibility to stay and finish them all, even though there really isn’t an end to it. This game is definitely addictive, and scores a 10/10 in the addictiveness category.
All in all, 2020: My Country is a great game, and the fact that it is free to play makes this app even sweeter. I definitely recommend downloading it today, and I will give 2020: My Country an overall rating of 7.5/10.
