Ever since mobile gaming became popular, there has been an influx of fake cheat tool websites. The fake cheat tool websites offer cheat tools for all of the popular mobile games, including City Driving 3D. By using said cheat tool, you can allegedly give yourself unlimited amount of gold coins, which would mean that you could unlock every single car in the game. Of course, the cheat tools do not work, and they are only designed to trick people into filling in surveys or to make them click on a lot of annoying advertisements.
The fake cheat tool websites are only out to earn money, and they can do this by scamming people, because every single survey that gets filled in, generates an income for them. Once people have filled in surveys, they will be able to download the so called cheat tool for City Driving 3D, only to find out that they have been scammed, and the files they have just downloaded are nothing but empty shells or nasty viruses. Instead of looking for working cheats for City Driving 3D, and potentially infecting your computer with nasty viruses, I will give you some tips and tricks that will help you with your gameplay.
City Driving 3D Gameplay Tips and Tricks
It is very important to understand that you do not actually need any of the newer cars, in order to be able to play the game and complete missions. The developers of City Driving 3D try to make you purchase gold coins, so that you are able to purchase newer cars. However, if you do not feel like spending money on a free-to-play mobile game, there are easier ways to earn gold coins in City Driving 3D. For starters, if you do not mind watching advertisement videos, you can actually earn a lot of gold coins by doing just that. You can also earn gold coins by driving carefully, and not making any mistakes during your gameplay. The faster you complete a mission, the more gold coins you will earn. You can then use those gold coins to purchase newer cars, which you do not need, but they look better and are faster.
When you first start playing City Driving 3D, you will immediately notice that the game is littered with all kinds of advertisements, which are annoying and obstructive. You can purchase the “Remove Ads” item to remove all advertisements from the game, but not everyone wants to spend money on a free-to-play mobile game. Luckily, I know how to remove all advertisements from City Driving 3D, without having to pay anything. Before you start doing anything, you need to make sure that City Driving 3D is closed down and not running in the background on your mobile device. Once you have made sure of that, you need to turn on Airplane Mode on your mobile device, which disconnects you from the internet.
Because your mobile device does not have an internet connection anymore, games such as City Driving 3D are not able to push advertisements on it. Most free-to-play games require an internet connection, just to be able to show the advertisements. You will notice that there are no more advertisements in City Driving 3D. After you are done playing, you can turn off Airplane Mode, and use your device as before as you have been before.
The name already suggested to me that the gameplay would be about driving a car, through a city of some sorts. I was surprised to see that there were actually several different missions and different cars in City Driving 3D. It is nice to see that the cars in the game look like real life cars, such as the Volkswagen Bug. A positive aspect about City Driving 3D is that you can actually tap on the gas and brake pedals, and you can use the steering wheel in the car. This gives you the feeling like you are really driving a car, because you try to use caution when you are passing through traffic. There are some nice sound effects in City Driving 3D, such as when you are revving your engine, or when you crash against another car. The gameplay in City Driving 3D is pretty balanced, but unfortunately, the game also has several negative aspects.
For starters, the developers of City Driving 3D have littered the game with advertisements. The advertisements come in the form of pop-up banners and videos. The video advertisements take anywhere between fifteen and thirty seconds, and the worst part about them is, that you are not able to skip them. City Driving 3D is a classic example of a cheap cash grab mobile game, where the developers are only looking to earn a quick buck, and they do not care about how much they are annoying and obstructing the players. It is understandable when free-to-play games have advertisements in them, but the developers of City Driving 3D simply went overboard.
The worst part about the advertisements in City Driving 3D is, that if you do accidently tap on one of them, the game will minimalize itself and your browser will start up, redirecting you to the website of the advertiser. I do not believe that anyone is looking to get obstructed in this kind of way, and it will quickly turn players off from City Driving 3D. The developers should look into proper ad-placement, where they will still be able to place advertisements into their game, but not annoy or obstruct people as much as they are doing right now.
The second negative aspect about City Driving 3D is that the developers are trying to trick people into spending money on the game. It is normal for a free-to-play game to have an in-game store, where players can purchase things with real money, but City Driving 3D does not really have anything worth purchasing. You can purchase gold coins, which you can use to purchase new cars, but you can also simply earn the gold coins, by playing the game. What I find funny is that, you can remove all advertisements from the game by purchasing the “Remove Ads” item for $2,99, but you can also purchase the City Driving 3D Pro Version for $2,99, which already removes all advertisements and also adds new levels and cars to the game. This just proves to me that the developers did not think logically at all, and they are only out to earn money quickly, and a lot of people still fall for it.
City Driving 3D Ratings
Artwork: I give City Driving 3D a 7/10 for its artwork. The graphics in City Driving 3D are pretty decent, especially considering that it is a mobile game. I really like the fact that it feels like you are driving an actual car, because you are able to tap on the gas pedal and brake pedal, and steer your way through traffic. I would have liked to see a higher quality of graphics and perhaps more animations in the background, which would have made the gameplay feel more alive.
Music & SFX: I give City Driving 3D a 7/10 for its music and SFX. There is only one soundtrack and several different sound effects in City Driving 3D. The soundtrack is pretty decent, and sounds like it is been taken from a surf movie. The sound effects are nice and range from main menu button SFX to different engines revving SFX. The sound effects in City Driving 3D really enhances the gameplay, especially because each car has its own sounds. The soundtrack and sound effects are easy on the ears. It is nice to see that the developers were able to combine the graphics with the music and SFX of the game, making them fit nicely tougher.
Story & Originality: I give City Driving 3D a 7/10 for its story and originality. There are a lot of different racing games on both Google Play Store and iOS App Store, and I can say that I have already played games which were very similar to City Driving 3D. This does not take away the fact that the developers have implemented some original features in the game. For example, there are several different missions in City Driving 3D, which I enjoyed playing. You can also purchase new cars with the gold coins that you have earned, and even customize them by giving them a different color. There is no real backstory in City Driving 3D, but every single mission has a little description, which could be taken as a story on its own.
General Gameplay: I give City Driving 3D a 7/10 for general gameplay. There is no tutorial at the beginning of the gameplay in City Driving 3D, which is unfortunate, because there are a lot of casual mobile gamers that could get confused on how to actually play the game. Luckily for them, the controls are fairly easy to get used to, especially after playing the game for a while. The gameplay is pretty straightforward as well, but still entertaining due to all the different missions you can play, and the different cars that you can purchase and use during your gameplay. The controls are responsive and smooth and the user interface is crisp and clear, once you are able to close down all of the advertisements.
Addictiveness: I give City Driving 3D a 3/10 for addictiveness. It is definitely difficult to even get even remotely addicted to City Driving 3D, due to the fact that the game is littered with all forms of advertisements. The developers definitely didn’t hold back, and they have clearly shown me that they are only out to make money with their game, and they do not care at all about their players. The advertisements in City Driving 3D come in the form of banners, pop-up banners and even pop-up videos, which are very obstructive and annoying to the gameplay. They also make City Driving 3D feel like a cheap cash grab. If the developers of City Driving 3D want to keep their loyal players, they should definitely look into fixing the amount of advertisements in the game, and implement some kind of a reward system into the game.
All things considered, I give City Driving 3D a 6/10.
