This aspect is very important to a lot of people, because let’s face it, no one enjoys having to wait just to be able to continue playing a game.
Bunny Run is a pretty entertaining game to play in 2016, especially if you are looking to kill some time; however, the game does have several negative aspects. For starters, the developers have implemented a lot of advertisements into the game. The advertisements come in the form of pop-ups, which show up at random times.
The annoying part about the pop-up advertisements in Bunny Run is that they seem to appear whenever you need to tap on the screen to continue. This makes it feel like the developers of Bunny Run are trying to trick people into accidently tapping on the advertisements, just so that they can earn some money through ad-revenue. Bunny Run really feels like a cheap cash grab because of this reason, which is very unfortunate.
The second negative aspect about Bunny Run is that the developers allow you to earn free gold coins by completing offers through Tapjoy. The problem here is that Tapjoy (and other similar systems) do not always work flawlessly. More often than not, you will end up spending a lot of time downloading and testing out other applications and games, only to not receive the promised amount of gold coins afterwards.
Of course, you could open a support ticket, hoping that Tapjoy’s support staff will reach out to you; however, I can guarantee you that you are going to wait a very long time for a response. You are going to be asked to prove that you actually completed the offer, which is somewhat impossible to do. Instead of implementing systems such as Tapjoy, the developers could think of a different system that could reward Bunny Run players.

Artwork: I give Bunny Run an 8/10 for its artwork. The graphics and animations in Bunny Run are pretty decent, especially considering that the game is free to download and play. The first thing you notice while you are playing Bunny Run is that there are so many different level designs and characters, which really keeps the game entertaining and fresh. I really like the fact that all of the characters in Bunny Run have their own animations, when they are running, jumping and sliding. This shows me that the developers have put some thought into the development and design of Bunny Run, which is always nice to see. Both the graphics and animations fit each other very nicely, allowing you to play the game in a smooth and clear way.
Music & SFX: I give Bunny Run a 7/10 for its music and SFX. I have played Bunny Run for a while before writing this review, and I can tell you that the soundtracks and sound effects in this game are of a decent level; however, I wished that there were more soundtracks in the game. The soundtracks in Bunny Run do change over time, but only if you make it to a certain distance. This means that you will most likely listen to the same soundtrack over and over again, until you get better at the game. The sound effects are pretty decent and they fit the game nicely.
Story & Originality: I give Bunny Run a 7/10 for its story and originality. As I mentioned above, Bunny Run is very similar to other popular “running” games such as Temple Run. However, this doesn’t take away the fact that the developers of Bunny Run did a good job at developing their game with original features. I really like the fact that you can purchase different kind of characters, who also run and behave differently. It is also nice that you can purchase power-ups and utilities, which seriously help you during your gameplay. There is no story behind Bunny Run, other than what you can read at the Game Description on Google Play Store.
General Gameplay: I give Bunny Run an 8/10 for general gameplay. The gameplay in Bunny Run starts with a small tutorial, in which you learn how to dodge objects, jump, and slide and how to properly play the game. Once the tutorial is over, you will be able to play the main game, which is basically the same as the tutorial level. Naturally, the gameplay becomes pretty straightforward after playing it for a while; however, it remains entertaining due to all the different power-ups, utilities, characters and level designs. You never know what to expect during your gameplay, which makes it thrilling and difficult. The controls are very smooth and responsive and the user interface fits the overall theme of the game very nicely.
Addictiveness: I give Bunny Run a 7/10 for addictiveness. Even though Bunny Run is a pretty entertaining game to play, I still wouldn’t say it is very addictive, at least not for me. Games such as Bunny Run are great when you are looking to kill some time; quickly play for a couple of minutes, after which you can simply close down the game again. It is very nice to see that the developers did not implement any kind of playtime limitation systems into the game. Usually, playtime limitation systems come in the form of energy bars, lives or timers, which limit the amount of time that you can play the game. Luckily, this is not the case with Bunny Run, which means that you can play the game whenever you want and for however long you want.
All things considered, I give Bunny Run a 7/10.
