Marvel Comics currently rules the entertainment medium with an iron fist (admit it, you love that pun!). I took a seat during the Marvel video games panel and learned about the comic juggernauts upcoming console/mobile games. I also got to see Mr. Stan Lee, one of the most legendary fixtures in all of comic books.
Check out the highlights of the exciting panel below:

– The Marvel Heroes game is getting a slew of new costumes for the game’s many heroes – The Colossus “Outback Costume,” Ms. Marvel’s “Binary” costume, Storm Marvel NOW! X-Men outfit!”, Cable’s “War Baby” costume, Hulk as War, the Horseman of Apocalypse, and Captain America in his “First Avenger” costume. The Superior Spider-Man outfit is also coming, as well as the vocal talents of Christopher Daniel Barnes.
– A bunch of new Marvel mainstays will be added to the game in the next few months – Human Torch, Emma Frost, Luke Cage, Nova and everyone’s favorite – Squirrel Girl!
– The game will be adding an Asgard-themed hub world for players to explore real soon. This add-on content will coincide with Marvel’s Thor: The Dark World. By the way, a mobile game dedicated to that film is also on the way.
– Marvel Pinball just might be getting a table dedicated to a “Strange” hero…
– Marvel’s massive “Infinity” series event will be a part of the Marvel: War of Heroes mobile game. This plot will task players with different missions that put them at odds with Thanos.
– A new card-battling game is coming out for another Marvel team – the X-Men. The new mobile game, titled X-Men: Battle of the Atom, will include virtually every character from the franchise. Several storylines and alternate universes will be featured as a part of the game’s campaign. The Schism storyline will be the beginning of the game, then the actual Battle of the Atom storyline will follow soon after. James Asmus is writing/adapting the stories for the game. Some of the game’s other features include Guild vs. Guild event-based gameplay included for 20 versus 20 battles and team-based/relationship bonuses and stat buffs.
