Your adventure starts off at the Star Awards, where the paparazzi is ready to take your picture and the host is asking you on how your career got started. You then find yourself in your apartment talking to Tony Devera, where he’s excited to watch his television debut. Through the game, you will be given various tasks and goals to achieve. If you’re not sure what to do, you can simply tap on the task board in the bottom right-hand corner.
In the beginning of the game, you will be given simple tasks like turning on the TV. You can also tap the cat in your apartment to earn additional cash and energy.
Oh, no! Your landlord’s upset because your rent is overdue by a week! Even though he’s harassing you for the money, you can avoid paying rent by using your charm. By doing this he’ll give you an additional week to pay rent, which is $500. When you’re outside with your landlord make sure to tap on various items like birds, garbage cans and cardboard boxes and you will earn cash and energy. keep in mind it might take some time to accumulate the $500. But, once you’re able to collect it and pay up, your landlord will be happy.
Your friend Tony Devera mentions that Starbeans is hiring, and you should go talk to the manager. Luckily, Starbeans is right next door so you can walk right over. When you’re at Starbeans, make sure you talk to Warren, the manager. When you talk to Warren, you’ll be asked to create your name for the game. You’ll need to prove to Warren that you know what’s in a cappuccino so that you can immediately get the job. You can earn additional cash by clicking on the video camera in the top left-hand corner in Starbeans. Also, its not about how “big” the job is, its about how well you perform. Be sure to do as much as you can when you’re given an assignment. You will know how well your doing by the stars in the bottom of the screen. When you get XP at the end, you’ll be able to unlock new stuff.
If you work at Starbeans, that doesn’t mean you can’t look good. You can customize your look so you can rise to fame. Some of the items in the shop won’t be available to wear until you advance to higher levels of the game. Simply select clothes to wear that are currently available to you.
When you go to your first party in the game, make sure you network and meet new people. Going to parties is a great way to make new contacts. When you get to the local bar, Wasted, you’ll meet Jacob from The Static Universe Theory and Arnie, an agent. New people you meet in the game will instantly be added to your contacts. Flirt with Jacob and let him know you’re ready to date a celebrity. Jacob will ask you what you’re currently doing for work. If you tell him you’re a barista he’ll be excited at the thought of coffee and will talk to his agent Arnie about getting you to be a part of the commercial. Once you leave Wasted, you’ll run into a woman who asks you if you work ther. If you say yes, you can earn some cash. Make your way to Arnies office. Arnie talked to Drew at KTV and he’s going to get you an audition. Because you got your foot in the door, you will earn extra points. When you get to the location for your audition, tap on all of the birds to earn energy and cash.
