1. The Basics Behind Battle Cards

• Well here it is, pilgrim. Battle cards are used to help you build a posse of sidekicks the likes of which the West never saw. Each card you pick represents a new sidekick that you can deploy in battle. Fillin’ your camps is easy, you just gotta rely on luck to get that one sidekick you really need. Not getting any luck from the draw? Check out the Gold and Silver card packs, these bad boys contain rare cards that can really help boost your posse.

2. What Can I Use Town Cards For?

• Building a frontier town ain’t no walk in the park, you’re gonna need all the help you can get! Town Cards are a lot more civil than your average Battle card. These cards help you speed up your building or guard upgrades, or can be exchanged for gold and goods! You can get more info on most of the Town Cards at this link.

3. Merge Cards to Get More Powerful Sidekicks

• Sometimes your sidekicks ain’t gonna have enough fire for the fight. The only tonic is to merge cards to upgrade your sidekicks into meaner, more powerful allies. Sidekicks can be merged when you have four of one type and will transform into a single, more powerful ally. For example, four regular Gunslingers can be merged to produce one Rugged Gunslinger.

4. Here’s What You Need to Know About Card Packs – Basic, Silver & Gold

• Check the saloon and you’re gonna find three different types of card packs: Basic, Silver and Gold. Let’s check what each one contains. Basic packs of cards are free for everyone. These packs only contain Regular cards and can be collected for free every time you see the “Open Deck” icon. Silver packs are only for high rollers with a bit of cash to burn. Opening this pack will increase your chances of getting a Rugged or Veteran card of any type! Well worth the gamble! Now Gold Packs are for the creme de la creme of card hustlers. These packs increase your chance of receiving Veteran and Notorious cards. These are the types of sidekicks that are gonna help you win any battle.

5. Use Rally Flags During Attacks

• During an attack, you can direct your sidekicks towards buildings by selecting the rally flag icon in the lower right corner of the screen and then tap on a point on the location you would like your sidekicks to move. Your sidekicks will follow that flag for 10 seconds and attack whatever they’re closest to, so use it wisely! Attacking buildings and camps will help you build battle points and deploy extra sidekicks during the heat of the battle. This means using rally flags to concentrate your fire on one target is absolutely essential!
