And so The Room 3 has come to an end. We've got the last pyramid. We pop it down on the table and we get the craftsman's key - and the door to the final room.

But wait! There are actually hidden endings to discover, and you get them by solving puzzles dotted around the hub world you have been using to access the main chapters in the game.

There are three to get. This guide covers the release ending. Read on, to unlock this special finale.

The Room 3

Place the final pyramid on the table, and take the craftsman's key. Do not go through the door that appears. Instead, go into the office - which is the room with the red curtain in the doorway.

Look at the grandfather clock through your eyepiece. You'll notice two things: there are blue lines on the 15 minute marks around the clock. And the hands are turning at the same rate as the real world clock.

When the time is on the hour, 15 minutes past, half past, or 15 minutes to the hour, a compartment will open on the clock. Slide the switch that appears to open the clock's belly.

(You can change the clock on your iOS device in the settings if you're feeling really impatient).

Inside are three metal weights, and a pendulum. If you watch the pendulum through the eye piece you'll notice three different numbers appearing: 4, 1, and 2. So move the left pendulum to the 4 spot, the middle to 1, and the right to 2, as shown above.

Take the crystal from inside the clock face.

The Room 3

Go the very top of the building, using the elevator in the library. Find this golden ball on the fence. This controls the big swinging ball in the middle of the room, and you want to use it to hit the back of the safe.

Rub your finger up and down over the golden ball, very slowly at first. Eventually you'll start to see the swinging ball start to move. Keep moving in time with the swinging ball to work up momentum and then change the aim of the ball until it shoots towards, and knocks down the safe.

Go back to the central room, where you put the pyramids on the table. You'll notice that the safe has smashed into the floor. Take the crystal from inside and go to the greenhouse.

Use the two crystals on this machine. Then twist the big handle on the right to start the machine moving. You'll be taken…

Here. It's another maze. Luckily, this one is a lot easier. Just follow the compass arrow at the top to get to the middle of the area.

Take the mysterious artifact from the table.

Now it is time to go through the final door. Take a deep breath and step inside.

Place the craftsman's key on the top of this weird tent thing to crack it open.

Take this metal ring.

The Room 3

Place the metal ring on the front of the box. Spin it around until the hole opens. Go inside with your eyepiece.

Here, you need to make thee holes appear underneath the three pistons. To do this, spin the gold disc until the hole on the rear dial lines up with the piston. Use the brass handle to move the cog. Repeat this until all three holes are lined up, like above.

Move this mirror to bounce the light around.

Take this mirror from a compartment on the table.

Place it here. Then move the first mirror back to its original position. You'll be taken to a hole - enter inside, using your eyepiece.

You now need to spin all the light beams until they are pointing at the red crystal, like above. Use one button to lock two of the beams in place, and the other to rotate the unlocked ones. It's all about getting them in sync.

Do not go through the train door! Instead, put the mysterious artifact here. Spin the dial and look in with your eyepiece.

Press the button on the top, and the train door will be replaced with a wooden one. Go on through to get ending three, "Release".
