• Upgrades

Upgrading your Hero and your units is incredibly important in this game, as your Hero will be defeated quite easily if you keep moving forward in the game without upgrading anything. The first thing to do in the game is trying to update the Magic Tower itself to unlock more upgrades for your units and your Hero. Upgrading the Magic Tower to level 11 unlocks all the upgrades.

• Quests

As in pretty much all role playing games, completing quests will allow you to earn more gold, experience and a variety of bonuses. Don’t worry if you end up exploring everything you can explore solo for a single day: you will be able to play through the latest dungeon multiple times to complete the available quests. There’s no real idle time in this game so make sure to use this to your advantage.

• Troops

Good management of your troops is really important to survive in this game. Troops actually represent your total HP in battle so make sure to get as many of them as you can. To upgrade them you will have to unlock the Barracks by upgrading the City Hall. Making troops more powerful not only will make the Hero more resistant but will also make them become a big help during your adventuring endeavors.
