Nerdy Workout Cheats: Tips & Tricks for the Buffed Up Nerd

A funny new game proves that simple mechanics can still make a game interesting: Nerdy Workout is that game which challenges us to turn a nerdy looking guy into a dumbbell lifting champion. Things would be easier if there weren’t monsters flying around, trying to eat his skinny arms, so we’ve decided to come to your help with a set of Nerdy Workout cheats: actually, a set of tips and tricks that will boost your rep numbers and turned your game character into the most buffed up nerd in the world.

So check out our simple Nerdy Workout tips and hope for the best:

1. Take your time
It’s a lot easier to avoid the monsters while they are slow and you have both your hands working. So take your time and don’t risk anything: slowly lift the dumbbells and wait for the monsters to pass. As soon as you lose one arm it’s almost game over and very difficult to actually get many more extra points.

2. Be careful with the lifting
Your nerd won’t be able to always lift both dumbbells at the same time, so make sure you always have enough space to avoid the monsters. If the nerd can’t lift both dumbbells all the way up, he will still lift one to the middle (and the other, of course, all the way up). The thing is that you don’t really know when exactly that will happen, so try to lift the weights in series: left, right, left, right and so on do avoid any surprises.

3. Don’t risk it!
You might think at times that you might be able to just squeeze in a rep before the monster arrives, but it’s usually not worth the risk. You don’t want to lose a hand or get a game over for just one rep, right?

4. One hand is faster
Probably you won’t last for long in Nerdy Workout for iPhone and iPad after you lose one arm, because the monsters become extremely fast. But you can still pull at least a dozen reps before the chaos takes over. In this case, you have to be very fast as everything happens faster at this stage. Waiting for the monsters to pass remains a good strategy and not risking it makes even more sense because you can lose your second arm while the nerd is performing a lift or dropping his hand.

5. Practice!
The more you play, the better you get at this game and soon enough you’ll be able to hit 200 reps without too much trouble. So keep playing and practicing and if things get too frustrating for you, take some quick breaks, breathe and calm down before playing again.
