High Dive by The Frosty Pop Corps is not an endless runner, but an endless diver, and it does fit into the uber-casual genre of mobile gaming. The title is available for iOS devices only as of the moment, but if you own an iPhone or an iPad, you just might find yourself getting really hooked to it. In the game, you control a character named Walter, and you will be helping him break the world outdoor diving record. The game has multiple characters, basic one-touch control systems, and awards for certain achievements. 1. Take It Easy When Tapping

Basically, tapping to the right in High Dive will move Walter to the right, while tapping to the left of your screen will move him to the left. You want to minimize these actions to make his dive more stable; once your dive starts and you don’t tap in any direction, you’ll be heading straight down.

2. Watch Out For The Birds

As your dives get higher and higher, the birds you’ll have to deal with will become bigger and faster. Yes, it doesn’t often make sense in the real world, but in this game, bigger birds are faster, and more obnoxious. Furthermore, you’ll also be dealing with more birds as the height of your dives gets higher. This may take some getting used to, but the important thing is avoiding getting hit by, or hitting the birds.

3. Collect Diamonds As You Dive

With each dive you make, you’ll have a chance to collect diamonds, which are the game’s premium currency. These diamonds can then be used to buy new in-game characters from the in-app store. Another way to earn diamonds is to watch advertisement videos, which will get you a hundred diamonds for free.

4. Don’t Go For Diamonds If You Can’t Avoid All The Birds

Now, if you find it hard to avoid all the birds during your dives, that’s when you should focus on avoiding the birds, and not at all on gathering more diamonds. If you focus too much on diamonds, that could make it harder for you to avoid coming in contact with the birds. Also keep in mind that the farther down you dive, the more chances you’ll have of getting a considerable amount of diamonds.

5. Play Offline For Less Distraction

This is our final tip for High Diver, and probably the simplest and most common one.
