Kicking Buddyman is a whole lot of fun, but to be really successful in this game, you need to do more than just kick him in any which way possible. Check out our compilation of Kick the Buddyman: Origins tips, tricks and hints if you want to take your game to the next level.
You’re probably wondering what’s in it for you after you kick the Buddyman so many times, just as the game advises you to do. Regardless of the weapon you use, the ultimate goal is to keep attacking Buddyman until he dies, or whatever happens to him when he’s taken too much damage. Once that happens, you will earn coins as a reward for clearing a level. The coins you buy can then be used to buy more weapons – all non-premium weapons sell for 700 coins each.
Aside from the coins you win for “killing” Buddyman, you’ll get a bonus of (usually) 500 coins per gift every few times you knock him off. These gifts first arrive every five minutes, then every 30 minutes, and so on until the gap between gifts becomes substantially longer than just five minutes. In light of this, you might need to do the time lapse cheat on your phone by setting the time ahead so you can see that Free Gift button once again. Just make sure to set the time back to normal before you click on the button, or else you’ll have to wait until after the time you set your phone to before your next free gift.
There’s yet another way for you to earn coins while playing Kick the Buddyman: Origins. The Earn Coins button will appear after each round, and once you hit it, an ad video will play. Complete the video to earn bonus coins as a reward, but in order to watch these videos, you will, of course, need to be connected to the Internet.
Ironically, it’s Buddyman’s herky-jerky motions when he stumbles around that make it hard to catch him, as opposed to simply being fast when he runs around. He moves towards the direction you’re tilting your phone to, so if you want to trap Buddyman and prevent him from running any further, you should tilt your phone diagonally so you can paint him into a corner and allow yourself to catch him and kick him much easier.
