Rope Escape Tips & Tricks to Improve Your Swing

Rope Escape is a pretty addicting game for Android – as you probably understood already from my review – and I am here to share with you some tips & tricks to help you create a perfect strategy that will also make sure that you will have a great time playing the game.

Because, even though Rope Escape is a game of skill before everything else (and a lot of luck), there are some things you should have in mind to help you get further, while collecting more coins. So check out below my Rope Escape tips & tricks!

1. Don’t stick to the classic mode! Although this is the most rewarding mode in Rope Escape and you can play it longer, the other two modes (Time attack and Limited Ropes) are good to try a little at least until you get the 500 meters achievement, which offers you a reward of 50 coins per each mode. And we all know how much 100 coins mean!

2. Don’t jump vertically – because you will fall vertically and at great speed, which will make it more difficult to catch on to something and continue your run. Try to learn and always swing forward.

3. Don’t be afraid to slow down. If the pace of your character is getting too fast and you risk not catching on to a tree, slow down: simply tap the screen to have the rope stick to a tree and wait for a little while until your character slows down. Then release and catch on the next tree and you can continue swinging forward, but at a lower and easier to control pace!

4. Invest your coins in powerups. Personally, improving the rocket should be your first priority because it makes it go longer, so you’ll go farther. Then, the coin is also good because it increases the number of coins you get per rock. The others are really pretty useless in my opinion, so better invest in buying rockets yourself – they are pretty cheap and they can save you when you’re about to hit the ground. The first one that only costs 20 coins should be enough.

5. Don’t focus on the coins! Focus on the distance instead to unlock achievements that give you coin rewards. Focusing on the coins is a waste of time because it’s very tough to control where you jump and usually rockets are not near coins.
