Angry Birds 2: How to get free unlimited lives (energy)

Angry Birds 2 is the 14th installment or so in the Angry Birds franchise, despite its name, but it’s billed as the one true sequel to Angry Birds. Whatever it is, it’s been irritating many gamers used to the premium experience of the old one due to its system of energy/lives, which is a clone of Candy Crush. However, the great thing about it is that you can earn unlimited free lives without even spending anything, and with no hacks, simply by a little bit of cheating, or even without cheating. Read on to find out how!

The main way to earn free lives is, when your lives run out, go to the date and time settings on your iPhone or iPad or Android device, and set the time ahead by half an hour per life that you need to recover. So, two and a half hours for a full life recovery. Then go back to the game and all of your lives will be restored instantly. Every time. Point blank period.

Of course, you don’t want to have your phone running on some insane time far into the future because you wanted to cheat. Do the cheat, and then when you see your lives restored, go back to your date and time settings and set your time back to normal. Then go back to Angry Birds 2 and your lives will still be there. That means you can do this trick as many times as you want to and still keep a normal time on your phone.

Of course, if you want free lives without messing up the time on your phone, there is always the option of watching a commercial to get a life back. This will pop up if you try to play a level with no lives left. You can do this as many times as you want, and although watching commercials gets old after awhile, it always works until you run out of videos. Then simply wait a few minutes and they typically return immediately.

Or if you want videos to come back right away, another option is to close out the game and then open it back up again. Do this and then go watch a video and it will pop up pretty much every time.

Your final option is to use one of the many avenues to get free gems, such as watching the video to double rewards after you beat a level, and logging into Facebook, which gives you an initial haul of 70 gems. Spend your gems wisely, and if you can help it, don’t spend them on lives (use the above advice and information to get more free lives instead), but if you absolutely don’t want to mess with the time or watch videos, then spend the gems.
