Touchdown Hero: New Season – Tips, Tricks, Cheats, How to Win, and Strategy Guide

Touchdown Hero: New Season is a new endless football runner with pixelated graphics that takes what made last year’s Touchdown Hero so successful and builds upon it. Your goal is to get your running back as far as you can through increasingly tough defenses, with no offensive line of your own, only smart playcalling and quick reflexes. You can even unlock new teams based on real teams now. Read on for some tips and tricks for Touchdown Hero: New Season!

While it may seem counterintuitive for an endless runner, take your time. Focus when you’re looking at new defenses, because as they get tougher and tougher, it will become that much more of a tribulation to pass through them. Lift your finger off the screen to convert your character and the defenses to X’s and O’s on a blackboard.

Once you do that, the game will slow down, and you can then make a quick-action play. If you leave it like that for too long without doing anything, though, the game will go back into normal running mode. So what you want to do is tap and hold on a spot that’s well past where any of the defenders are, and you’ll sprint and run right up to that spot.

Once you crash into a defender, the game is over, but if you watch one of the free ad videos that the game offers, then you will be able to instantly start again where you left off, with no defenders in the immediate vicinity so you then have time to get your bearings. You can watch as many ad videos as you want to keep the run going for as long as you want.

Watch out for defenders that come at you from the sides. The ones in the front are fairly easy to spot, and you’ll see them in enough time to make it easy to lift your finger off the screen, but the ones that come from the side will hit when you least expect it, and when you are crossing from one side of the field to the other they come at a seemingly insanely high speed. Keep your eye on all sides of the field.

You can unlock new team uniforms based on real life teams depending on your score. The unlock criteria is either based on your score in one run, or your cumulative score. The latter takes forever; the former takes a whole lot of skill but allows you to unlock uniforms a whole lot quicker.
