Giving yourself a lease on life on a level is as easy as watching an advertisement video. These free videos will allow you to return where you left off, though you will have to be patient and watch the entire video so that you can get back in the game without losing any progress.
Fortunately, Dot Wave has some difficulty settings, so if you’re a new player, you should obviously start with the easiest level available. But it would be even better if you switch to the hardest available difficulty once you’ve completed one round in the easiest mode. This may be the best way for you to improve your game as you strive to play in more difficult settings for an extended period of time.
Going 30 seconds consecutively in the Hardest difficulty level will allow you to play the amusingly-named Hardestest level. And once you go 30 seconds in a row on Hardestest, you’ll unlock Impossible. Still, that’s not the hardest level available on Dot Wave – going 30 seconds in a row on Impossible will unlock the last, and most difficult level – OMG. That’s as hard as it gets, though we must warn you that going 30 seconds straight in OMG is a near-impossible feat.
Aside from switching difficulty levels, you can also toggle between Random and Rotation modes. This should allow you to stay focused, and give you an idea of what to do in different types of levels. Though, if that’s quite a chore for you, you can go right into the tutorial level, as that comes with the least fluctuations and obstacles to deal with.
This is one of those games that can be quite difficult to play with all those ads surprising you and ruining your focus. If that’s the case, there’s nothing wrong with playing offline, or with your phone on airplane mode. Still, it wouldn’t hurt either to play online, so that you can give the developer a break and help them earn from this title.
