Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation Strategy Guide & Cheats

Glu is back with another title based on a popular movie franchise, and it’s Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation, which is available for Android and iOS devices. This game is based on the latest movie in the MI franchise, and your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to take out enemy agents, destroy rogue bases, and eliminate high-profile targets, among other things. Your goal is to ultimately stop the evil Syndicate, and as you do this, you can collect and upgrade weapons, defend your base from enemies, and form an IMF agency with other human players if you’re willing to get involved in the social element of this game.

We’d like to say that this Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation strategy guide will self-destruct in ten seconds, but it actually won’t – you’ll need these tips to help you achieve your goal faster and take out the Syndicate once and for all.

1. Switch Cover Spots

When moving around in this game, there will be more than one place where you can take cover from enemy fire. Simply tap the arrows on your display to switch between cover spots; this won’t just allow you to hide better, but maybe even take out an enemy quicker. What doesn’t work in one spot may very well work in another.

2. Take Headshots

Most games of this type would reward you for going for the headshot – that means an instant kill or at least a ton of damage. In most cases, firing a headshot would kill your enemy instantly, though there may be times where they’ll “simply” take huge damage and “merely” be at death’s door. Headshots also mean more bonus points, and more rewards once you clear a level.

3. Fire At Your Enemies During Quick Breaks

This is the safest way to go, as enemies will keep firing at your spot once they know where you’re positioned. They will eventually run out of ammo, and when they do, they’ll take about a second or two or so to reload. But before that, they’ll also pause for about a second in between rapid-fire attacks. In both cases, you’ll want to move or shoot during those quick breaks – when the enemy is resting in between attacks, or stopping to reload.

4. Buy Some Throwing Knives

Guns are definitely fun to use in games like this, but they shouldn’t be the be-all and end-all of your attack. You can head to the shop and buy some throwing knives; use them to kill an enemy with just one hit. They’re so useful because unlike guns, they don’t make a sound, and therefore don’t alert enemies to your position. As such, you want to use your throwing knives when dealing with large groups of enemies.

5. Upgrade Your Headquarters Once Defense And PvP Options Are Available

Once those two options – defense and PvP – are unlocked, you can go about upgrading your headquarters. And when it comes to upgrades, the data crystals economy upgrade should go first, as that boosts production rates, as well as the production of crystals and the maximum number you can carry in one go.
