How do you do the first five quests on monster hunter portable

the first five quests on most of the monster hunter series are usually just tutorials to get the basics of the game. They're usually all gathering missions so search around in areas that stand out like a plant in a patch of grass and press the O button. There are plenty of spots to search and some of them you need a bugnet or a pickaxe or bait for your fishing rod before you can search it. Gather all the items that are required for the quest and head back to the main campsite, when you get to your tent look around for a red chest. When you find it walk up to it and press the O button and if you have all the required items your quest will be complete. If your quest requires you to capture or kill a monster you must kill or capture the monster it asked for before the time limit is up.
