How do you get more points on tribalwars
You get more points by upgrading your buildings.
An example for a standard village built:

Village Headquarters (Level 20)
Barracks (Level 25)
Stable (Level 20)
Workshop (Level 5-15)
Smithy (Level 20)
Academy (Level 1-2-3) <= Depending on which world settings, may vary between 1-2 or 3.
Raly point (Level 1)
Statue (Level 1) Necesary to have this in your first village (Not all worlds work with the Statue and Paladin, but most newer worlds have the Statue now) Allot of players don't use the Statue anymore in late game, because you can only have 1 Statue and Paladin in 1 village, you can however change the location of your statue in your prefered village. This is excellent if you are on the Frontlines. Specially when you are playing a Church world.
Market (Level 15-20) Most players don't have a Lvl 20 market as it takes allot of farm space (Troop space). So if you want to save as much farm space as possible, you are best to keep it at Lvl 10-15.
Timber camp (Level 30)
Clay pit (Level 30)
Iron mine (Level 30)
Farm (Level 30)
Warehouse (Level 30)
Hiding place (Level 10) <= Allot of Tw players will tell you this is unnecesarry to build. However as being an experienced Tw player myself with 5 years of playing experience, I can tell you that it is necesary! Having a level 10 hiding place saves you 2K of each resources when your wall is knocked down. with these 2k resources you can rebuild a few wall levels wich can be crucial for incomming support. Having no hiding place results in having no resources left to rebuild your wall (after being cleared). for an hour long (plenty of time for your enemy to noble your village if he has a Noble train enroute or a village at your doorsteps.
Wall (Level 20)

Church & the First Church are one of the newest buildings in Tw, and can only be built on Church worlds.
