What happens when you rebirth your pet on Mabinogi

When you reirth a pet, it's different then when you rebirth a humaniod (Giant/Elf/Human). Instead of keeping their skills at the same ranks like humanoids, their skills will reset to the rank they were when they start out. So for an example a Japanese Bobtail might have Rank A Smash but when you rebirth them it will go back to Rank F, but for a Bear say they got up to Rank 6 Smash. When you rebirth them they willl have Rank A Smash because that's how they start out as. BUT if you Cross-Rebirth it's different. Cross-Rebirthing is whenyou get a pet but later on you rebirth them as a different animal. Say you made a cat. After a while they'll get Icebolt and Lightningbolt. Then you rebirth them with a bear animal card. BUT when they become a bear they willlhave ALL the skills the cat had but reset. So then your bear can have Icebolt and Lightningbolt. But if you just make a bear without cross rebirthing then they will never get Icebolt and Lightningbolt. But also their smash will start out at Rak A instead of Rank F for a cat eventhough they were a cat before.
