What is different about the PSP 3000

They added a Microphone to it changed the Home button into the PS button (no real diffrence, just looks diffrent) Changed the screen to not have as much glare and show better colors ( though many games have worse colors on it because of the way the pixels are arranged on the new screen!!) They added the TV out for normal TV's so you dont need an HDTV to play psp games on it and there was a couple other cosmetic diffrences.
