How do you do WiFi connection on animal crossing

First, you must go talk to Copper in the Main Gate. You must tell him "i want to go out" to go to another person's town, or "invite guests" to invite a guest to your town. Copper will then either open the gate for visitors to come in if you chose "invite guests", so a person could come to your town anytime they want, or Copper will search for a certain period of time, and if a person's gate is open, Copper will say "(town) the home of (person) is available. Do you want to go there?" And you can do whatever from there.
