What are game patches

Game patches are a package of information designed by the developer of a software to fix the problems of the original software they released.

There is a saying "If we wait for absolutely all to be ready, we will never start". That's way the software is released with the most of the issues solved, but not all.

So it's usually a good idea to perform updates and install patches as they can fix crashing, compatibility or security problems.

Usually they are a small package that already knows how to install itself, or the installation is done automatically by internet.
