What is omega three
What is omega three
"omega-3" (also written ω-3) is the name of a family of
fatty acids.
Fats and oils in human diet are compounds of fatty acids, and the omega-3 fatty acids form one group. We humans cannot make them in the body, but if there are some in our diet we can make others from them.
Several health benefits have been claimed for fats containing omega-3 fatty acids. In particular, there is good evidence that they reduce heart attack risk factors.
