you get a sonic chao by following these steps. 1st get a normal chao. either go to a chao garden with unhatched eggs or reincarnate. 2nd get running type animals which are deer, kangaroo, and rabbits. rabbits are the best and are found best at speed highway. 3rd keep giving your chao running animals until it evolves into a neutral speed type chao. 4th still keep giving it running animals till it evolves again. then you get a sonic chao
