Who is the Angry video game nerd and what he does

The Angry Video Game Nerd (AVGN) is a character created by James Rolfe and played by himself. He lives in America and has played many games through his life.

He created the AVGN as an "community service" in 2004 or little before. He said in one of his firsts videos that he wanted to warn players to stay away form some bad games. In the old days buying games was a real frustration because there was little way to know if a game is worth buying and playing until you already wasted your money.

In his videos he chooses mostly the worsts games of the old days and plays and comment them for you trying to show the real value of the game. It is a review of the old and bad games on different platforms.

However most of his viewers don't really need to see the reviews, because most of them already know which games are worth playing and which don't. The real fun is watching him get angry about a negative part of the game.

The comments are pertinent in regard to the value of the game, but are not for children's ears.

Recently he begun reviewing old and new movies too, and has already a compilation on DVD (some of them with autograph) of his best moments.
