How long should a teenager play a video game

Well, the rules at my house are: 30 minutes on a school night and a hour per day on the weekends. You can play 1 hour per day on holidays (Spring Break, Winter Vacation.) Summertime really doesn't have a limit, but we don't play for more than 2 hours per day.
