Do video games affect the heartbeat of the player

Do you really want to know? Or are you some nerd who is bored of Super Smash Bros. Brawl already? I think you don't really care but I'll answer it anyways. My good man, the answer depends on what you are playing. For example, if you play Condemned 2, your heart will race because it is scaaaaary. But if you are playing Candyland on DVD, then no, unless you are about to get it on with the Candy fairy.
