How do you use cheat engine 5.4 for DOFUS

Dofus is an MMO which requires the home computer to communicate with a server. The values for a character controlled by a human are stored on the games server. Memory editing tools like Cheat engine will work on Dofus to change what stats look like, but not their actual values. Anotherwords you can make you screen say you have 1 million gold (called karmas in dofus) but in actuality you cannot spend that money as it does not exist on the server. Thus Cheat engine does not work for anything useful in dofus, short of changing how things look on your screen.

well, on anything (runescape, any games that have money, wood, meat, some kind of currency), you need to first find your game on the window list. when you open cheat engine, click the icon in the top left corner. when you open that window, click the button that says window list. then scroll all the way to the bottom (the games are usually at the bottom) and if you dont see your game, just slowly scroll up looking at each one. When you see your game, click on it. now go to your game. You type your number of currency into the slot where it says "value" then press first scan. when you see all those numbers come up. lose or gain some currency on your game. then type in the new number of currency. press the next scan button. this time only a few numbers should come up. right click a number and press "select all". then click the little red arrow right under the box the numbers that are selected should be in the horizontal box below. double click where the numbers are. change the number to whatever number you want it. then do this to all the numbers in the horizontal box. then click next scan. go back to your game and buy something. you should have the number of currency you scanned for.
