Why do people play violent video games and copy it in real life

they dont, thats just a stupid stereotype. video games are nothing but harmless fun. why would someone go round killing people just because they've done it on some unrealistic game. and why would they think its cool. shame on you for thinking that... i would probably have thrown in a few swears but this site doesnt let me.
