Can you create a class in Battlefield 3

Battlefield 3 does not offer the ability to create a class per se. It does, however, allow the player class customisation. This feature allows a player to select a class and then, customise its load out.

For example, the player might choose to go as the Assault class, this mean the player will be limited to weapons, gadgets and equipment designed specifically for this class. Such as, assault rifles, Medkits, M320 under-slung grenade launcher, M26 MASS under-barrel shotgun and the Defibrillator.
