Will there be a hard core game mode for Battlefield 3

In Battlefield 3 online multiplayer there are multiple game modes and settings. One of the game pre-sets is hardcore. Hardcore is different from normal by:

• Limiting the information displayed on the Head-up Display (HUD)
• No third person view in vehicles
• Reduced health (60%), same damage
• Health and vehicle armor do not regenerate normally (without medkit/repair torch)
• Friendly fire is enabled
• Spotting of enemies is limited, no 3D spotting (on-screen)
• No cross-hairs
