How much is team fortress 2 on PC

Currently, Team Fortress 2 is available for download on Steam for free.

Team fortress 2 saw a slow decrease in it's MSRP over the years. I believe it started out as $20.00, and eventually moved to $10.00. From there, it became free.

Fun Fact: Those that purchased TF2 before it became free got a hat called the "Proof of Purchase".
