Is Assassins Creed brother hood real

Technically, no. The character Ezio and his friends are purely ficutal and any relation is due to coincidence. But, there was in fact an assassin organization in Rome at the time the game takes place. Maybe not as involved with world changing wars but definitely did political and religious assassinations on people they disliked.
