How do you get through the toxic waste in Lego batman

You need a specific character such as Bane( I think), The Joker, Killer Croc, or Poison Ivy. I really don't think that there are any suits for Batman or Robin that let them tred in the toxic waste, so if you want the minikits or red power bircks then you need to freeplay.
