When in Aliens vs. Predator do you get alien vision

you get the alien vision at the middle of the campaign. when you arrive at the mission ruins, you'll have to kill some aliens and jump form place to place, but afterwords, in the ruins mission, the predator changes his mask and puts on the elite predator mask which has incorporated the alien vision.
