How do you beat the bear on dale and peakot

How to beat the first boss in "Dale and Peakot"

First there will be wooden boxes in front of the bear. He will throw grenades on you. You are supposed to shoot the boxes and get some free space on top. Make Peakot go through that and stun the bear by double-clicking. The block with spikes on the left side will start going into the ground and the wooden boxes will be replaced withe steel ones. The bear will kick them at you. Avoid them and press the button on the left of the block with spikes. A platform will come up near the bear. Stand on that and wait till the bear kicks the steel boxes and shoot him. Keep repeating this.
