How do you chat in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 for PS3

If you want to chat to your friend you have to message him through the PS Menu if you want to message and unknown player message him through PS Menu Players Met or you can use a Microphone but over all on PS3 there is no way to CHAT on MW2
