Why do Roxas and Ventus look alike

i think i know in kingdom hearts birth by sleep at the end ventus i think he turns the keyblade on himself and it goes into sora and that is why sora has control of the key blade and when sora turns the key blade on himself that's why roxas looks like ven


Not really. Ven loses his heart in Birth By Sleep but I don't think it's because he attcked himself. His darkness extracted from his heart long ago turned into human form, Vanitas, merged with the unwilling Ven at the last battle and takes him over, creating the X-Blade and trying to destroy Aqua, he is defeated. But sadly, Ven does not wake up, for when he was taken over he lost his heart. He couldn't awaken until his heart could find its way back, but Aqua still tried to help the best she could. Ventus, instead of finding himself again, found Sora, the young successor Aqua had found worthy of one day wielding a Keyblade of his own. He merged with his heart, but when Sora had attacked himself to free Kairi's heart to save her in KH 1, that heart was free, but instead of just going into darkness, it helped shape Sora's Nobody, Roxas. And Sora was brought back from being a Heartless by Kairi, as well as that. And that's what happened. At least you were partially right and you gave it a shot...

but also ven wasn't lost forever within sora he came out as roxas but it also means they roxas might not have been a nobody he might have been like xion who was just another part of him ( i am referring to her being a nobody of soras memories)
